It was a close call. I nearly threw the filament guides away by accident because they are translucent white in a transparent bag embedded in white styrofoam, but everything arrived intact. Assembly took me three hours though
-I’m meticulous and triple-check my work; you could put it together for an hour if that’s your style.
Calibration was a breeze. The documentation made everything easy, especially calibration!
The printer is actually rather fun to assemble and calibrate–my fourth 3D printer but my favorite so far because of attention to detail in hardware, software, ergonomics; not just assembly instructions for the parts list or how-to videos with out-of-focus shots on an empty desk.
I am so pleased with this printer. I was impressed by everything from the packaging to the ease of use, but there are a few small things that can be improved on in design:
-The glue sticks were missing from my box and while it’s not hard to find one at any store nearby they should come included for convenience sake just like filament does;
-There is some trouble sticking these guides into place when you need them as well because if you don’t get them right then your print will hang up somewhere along its path or worse yet break off completely and ruin an entire day’s worth of work!

I recommend starting off with PLA filament and seeing what works best for you before branching out into ABS filaments which can be very difficult to master if they are not set up correctly from the start; plus their benefits aren’t worth mastering such a complicated material just yet–especially since PLA provides many comparable qualities while being simpler to use instead!
