slightly larger base. also, the pull tab wasn&rsquo;t modeled properly in netfabb, which is why it&rsquo;s not watertight. doesn&rsquo;t affect functionality though. Use whatever cutting device you feel comfortable with.<\/li>\n<li>j) Tapcon Batteries or other strong 3M adhesive. Do not touch the metal after it has been cut with bare hands!! It can cause serious chemical burns&hellip; it nasty stuff&hellip;isopropyl alcohol works well on cuts made this way&hellip;wipe it down before you go inside! c) Pipe cutter or pad saw or sheetrock saw or hackzall etc..<\/li>\n<li>d) Jig-saw if you want to make cooling fins.<\/li>\n<li>f ) Heat gun. Use this for all of the heat shrinking you will be doing. &nbsp;You can also use a heated blade on a knife, but I prefer the gun as it heats evenly on large surfaces and does not warp wood as much.<\/li>\n<li>g) Scroll saw or coping saw to make cooling fins as I mentioned above.<\/li>\n<li>h) Three\/Four jaw chuck with 3\/8&Prime; metal drill bit if you plan on making your own custom glass bowl instead of using mine that comes with the kit above<\/li>\n<li>i) Angle grinder with 5&Prime; metal cutoff wheel for cutting downpipe<\/li>\n<li>j) Felt tipped pen k) Sharpie marker<\/li>\n<li>l) Drill Press- This is optional unless you plan on using a center drill to start your holes<\/li>\n<li>m) 1\/2&Prime; drill bit for tapping the RH(left-hand threads) into the PVC adapters<\/li>\n<li>n) Tape measure or straight edge<\/li>\n<li>o) Ruler or Straight Edge<\/li>\n<li>p) Precision screwdriver set that includes Phillips #1, #2, and #3 to remove the back off of your wall switch.<\/li>\n<li>q) Clamps! The clamp in the picture is a porter cable auto-adjusting clamp it is very useful when you are working with large flat surfaces like this project.<\/li>\n<li>r ) Spade bits 3\/8&Prime; &amp; 1\/4&Prime;, this makes it easier to get started on drilling large holes through wood. &nbsp;You can also use a smaller spade bit to pilot holes before you drill the larger hole.<\/li>\n<li>s) Lots of sandpaper 220+ grit, 400+ grit, and steel wool to get everything ready for staining\/painting.<\/li>\n<li>t ) Safety Glasses, Gloves, Face Shield while cutting pipe and grinding down inside edges that will be exposed after this project is complete. You do not want to inhale any of the particles released from these processes. This goes without saying but if you plan on using a rotary tool like a Dremel with a metal bit you must use eye protection as well.<\/li>\n<li>u) 1&Prime; Forstner or spade bits (not needed if you do not plan on making your own custom glass bowl)<\/li>\n<li>v) A center drill bit 1\/2&Prime;, this is to help with making a pilot hole for an interchangeable glass bowl or a spade bit.<\/li>\n<li>w) A plug cutter for making plugs of your chosen wood if you plan on staining or painting this project<\/li>\n<li>x) Plenty of sandpaper 220+, 400+ grit, steel wool<\/li>\n<li>y ) Pipe insulation will be necessary if you decide not to use my custom glass bowl.
