The first thing you should do after purchasing the printer is download STL plans online and start building filament feeders or spool feeder holders because these things will come in handy surprisingly quickly once they&rsquo;re needed!<\/p>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A\"><\/span>A<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>It&rsquo;s easy to forget that the dual extruders are only useful for a limited set of things.<\/p>\n<p>The main reason you want them is if you need two different colors in one print, but even then it&rsquo;s not necessary because Flashforge Creator Pro has an automatic filament dispensing feature that will allow your design with both color changes be printed automatically!<\/p>\n<p>You should also always unload the extruder at least once every 7 days as this prevents any issues from occurring when printing and can help prevent clogging or jamming problems.<\/p>\n<p>Just remember to keep the door and top cover on while designing; heat retention is key during all 3D Printing processes so keeping these closed allows more intense heating times before cooling off giving better quality prints overall!<\/p>\n<p>Many people who buy a 3D printer find that the default slicing settings are wrong for their machine.<\/p>\n<p>Experiment with your slicer&rsquo;s settings to get optimal print quality, which will result in fewer failed prints and lower material costs on filament spools.<\/p>\n<p>It can take some time before you become an expert at knowing how much infill is needed or what temperature set point works best for different materials but it&rsquo;s worth learning these things if it means being able to produce professional-quality parts reliably without wasting expensive filaments!<\/p>\n<p>One last thing I recommend trying out after getting experience printing one of each type: upgrading from stock nozzles (which tend not to be very high precision) into micro swiss nozzle heads; they give vastly better.<\/p>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"B\"><\/span>B<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>I often hear that people recommend various other materials for printing on, like glass or PEI. But I say don&rsquo;t listen to the internet trolls!<\/p>\n<p>The key is to keep your surface clean and use a raft after each print.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s not as easy with some of these less expensive printers but it&rsquo;ll always be worth it in terms of longevity when you do replace parts more frequently because they&rsquo;re still holding up well despite all that abuse from running into objects time and again &ndash; something which can happen if you forget about those pesky little details such as cleaning between prints (yikes!).<\/p>\n<p>The first time I printed a large object, it took about two hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p>The reason was that the printer did not have enough heat to quickly and efficiently finish printing all of my layers.
